- Based on alien experiment escaping to Earth and making home as a pet dog with a small girl
- Introduction of space and aliens is different- newer concept for Disney films
- Start introduces Stitch and his background- good link to set of rest of film with use of music
- Positive music- montage suggests life of Lilo is happy
- Hawaiian based
- Music suddenly stops when trouble is caused by Lilo
- Similar to Tarzan mixed emotions in fist few minutes
- Elvis soundtrack- used to signify Lilo's emotion
- Loss in power in house when Stitch enters atmosphere
- Also happens during night and rain- suggests Stitch is bad- good character representation
- Daylight when Stitch meets Lilo
- Adopted as a dog
- Disney films use music and montages to pass time and show development of characters
- Lilo's parents killed in a car crash in rain
- Music more signifier than weather- compared to Tarzan
- Happy ending within plot for all good characters
- Ends with a music montage- good link into credits

Lilo & Stitch- Film notes.
To understand the film better and to see if I could find any links with the weather and the effects on the plot I felt it was best to watch it and take notes from this. This way I could look at elements that I felt could be relevant to me that would't necessarily be noted in any other source.
